It all comes down to the n word......

I have been working in the industry for approximately 20 years.  Closed alot of transactions with local Realtors from time to time.  Double-ended alot of my own listings.  Worked with the same client more than once.  And when I step back and look at the complete picture....it all comes down to "Networking".

What do you do to stay in front of your past clients faces....so they will think of you when someone needs to buy or sell?  Isn't it one of the best times right now to capitalize on your past efforts by just quickly and easily somehow getting your name, face and phone number in front of your clients faces at least once a month?

I have struggled the past 6-9 months to generate monthly "drips" in front of my clients via snail mail....to even keep my database alive.  (my computer hard drive has crashed twice without backup and yes, HP, I still love you).  Now I'm putting my database onto my yahoo account and it will be permanent.  Printed address labels via yahoo the first time the other day.

I am preparing to mail out my tshirts, a calendar magnet for my past client and "circle" "social network"'s refrigerator and next week even doing a homebuyers informational seminar on how to take advantage of today's real estate market.  Yes, alot going on.   And yet, if there wasn't, I'd be worried.  Worried about where my next deal is coming from.  Worried that my "circle" may forget about me if I was gone.

My reasons for writing this are mainly to pass on some of my innermost thoughts regarding how important of a time it is (and most of us know this instinctually right now!!) to network, network, network.

Show up at your local caravan.  Go to the local mixers, provided you think it will be a good use of your time.  Bring a little plate of four cookies to your clients who live at 777 Main Street....GET AND KEEP YOURSELVES OUT THERE RIGHT NOW.

There is a song by a group called Flaw that is called "Only the Strong" that keeps me moving in times like these...we must as my Italian Grandmother used to say, "Tira Avanti!!" which means "Move Forward, or Keep it Moving!!".

HOPE that you continue to strive, grow and succeed!!
